Rev. Jennifer Martinez
|
Pastor Jennifer has launched several discipleship and care initiatives, including a weekly Ladies’ Lament Group, creating space for honest prayer, healing, and encouragement, as well as a weekly study focused on biblical languages and cultural context that helps participants engage Scripture more deeply.
Her ministry also extends beyond church walls. She has served on the chaplaincy team at the local jail, leading addiction recovery ministry for incarcerated women and offering hope through the message of Christ.
In addition to pastoral ministry, Jennifer is actively engaged in agricultural and community education efforts. She is serving her second term as Vice President of the Southwest Arkansas Beekeepers Association and operates a state-registered apiary at the Hope ConneXion Outreach Center. She also completed Master Gardener training and oversees the Blessin’ Garden, helping cultivate produce, learning opportunities, and community connection through gardening.
She volunteers as an Advisor for local Venture Crew 1313 and as their Charter Organization Representative on the area council. Her goal is to guide participating youth and young adults as they develop leadership skills, learn about charitable civic organizations through service, cultivate peer and professional networks, and create memories through youth led adventures.
Pastor Jennifer holds an Associate of Arts from University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Southern Arkansas University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary as she works toward ordination in the Church of the Nazarene.
Pastor Jennifer’s ministry is shaped by a passion for seeing people restored, equipped, and reminded that hope is always possible.
