Rev. Adam & Rev. Amy PerryPastors Adam & Amy moved to Hope, Arkansas in 2019 from a pastorate at Hamlin Church of the Nazarene in Hamlin, TX. Originally from Kansas, the couple has been involved in various types of ministry for most of their lives!
Pastor Adam is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Adam, originally from Topeka, KS, previously was the Senior Pastor of Hamlin COTN, the Associate Pastor of Evangelism and Pastoral Care at St. Joseph First Church of the Nazarene, and was the Lay Pastor of Hyde Valley UMC in St. Joseph. Before this, he was a Lay Leader in the United Methodist Church and a Chaplains Assistant in the US Army. He holds an undergrad in Psychology from Missouri Western State University and a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He is also serving as the Sr. Chaplain for Hempstead County Correctional Facility. |
Amy, originally from Kansas City, KS, is our Executive Pastor and the Executive Director of the Hope ConneXion Outreach Center while also serving as the Chaplain for our area in the WAT22 veterans crisis organization. Previously, Amy was the Interim Pastor for Liberty Church of the Nazarene in Prescott, AR, she was on the board of directors for Mozambique Orphanage Fund and has a strong calling to international missions. Amy also feels called to be an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in which she is a Licensed Minister and is continuing her Ministry Studies with Nazarene Bible College. Previously Amy was a Senior Logistics Coordinator for Kellogg Brown and Root in Iraq where she was responsible for logistics on several Forward Operating Bases in theater. Before that Amy was a Motor Transportation Operator in the US Marine Corps.
Adam & Amy have a one daughter, Anna, and one granddaughter, Willow-Jean. They also have 3 fur-babies, their enormous cat, Giggity, and their 100 lb 'puppy', BayLee (White German Shepherd) and their latest adopted 4-legger, Yafa (Red Heeler / Great Pyrenees mix). Both of the 'puppy's' spend the week days working at the outreach center with Adam & Amy, they are spiritual support dogs and don't have mean bones in their bodies. They also serve in the Overcomers in Christ Groups as emotional support animals for those overcoming worldly addictions.
Both Adam & Amy are retired military veterans and feel a call to serve those who served our country. They are both responders for We Are The 22 (WAT22), a veterans crisis intervention organization. Adam enjoys photography, camping, and sports shooting. Amy enjoys crocheting, sports shooting, and as she says "blowing things up."
